Backlink prices: 7 quotes from bloggers (September 2026)
NicheMentions emails blogs that rank for a customer's keywords and asks them to link to one of the customer's pages. Some owners answer with a price. Between 29 September 2026 and 30 September 2026, 7 of them did, and every quote is in the tables below. 1 of the 7 came in reply to a sales email from one of our other products rather than a link request. We add new replies every week.

How site owners answered
6 of the 11 people who replied to a NicheMentions link request between 29 September 2026 and 30 September 2026 asked for money. None agreed to add the link for free and 1 said no. The other 4 asked a question, passed the email on or gave no clear answer.
We also counted the 126 people who replied to CrossMention, another product we run, between 25 August 2026 and 30 September 2026. That email asked companies with a blog to join an exchange where members mention each other in their posts, which is a bigger ask than one link. 1 of them asked for money and 19 said yes.

How we counted
We read every reply stored by NicheMentions and by the outreach workspaces of our other products (CrossMention, Krabat, OffsiteMentions, AnswerPlug and others). Replies our mail system flagged as automatic, such as out-of-office notes and bounces, are left out. A script picks the replies that mention a currency amount (12 so far), and Claude, a language model, reads each one. It keeps a price only when the sender runs the site and names an amount for putting a link, article or mention on it. It drops agencies that sell links on other people's sites, podcast and newsletter sponsorship, and amounts that only appear in our own quoted email. We then read every kept quote ourselves.
Each site counts once per link type, at its lowest price for that type. Where a site gave a range, we use the low end. Prices in pounds and euros are converted at the ECB reference rate of 30 September 2026: £1 = $1.33, €1 = $1.14. Domain Authority is Moz DA as reported by Keywords Everywhere; sites without a score are listed as unscored. We do not publish site names, people or email addresses.
